Registration

Q. Who can register?

A. Anyone who is an Indian citizen, residing in India, of 18 years or above as on 2nd March 2023 and the citizen should be of sound health and mind can register for Kon Honaar Crorepati – Season 4 No person can participate on behalf of another person. Any Contestant who has made it even once to the Fastest-Finger First (FFF) of the previous or current season(s) of the Show or on the hot seat of any season of (i) ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ Hindi or (ii) any of the regional versions of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, he/she will not be eligible to participate in the current season of the Show.

Q. When will the lines be open for registration?

A. Registration lines (Interactive Voice Response System, IVRS & App) are open from 00:00:00 hrs on March 2nd 2022, when the first question goes on air, for all viewers. The schedule of on-air registration questions during this period will be as below:

Q. What are the different modes of registration?

A. You can register by answering the on-air question by calling on the IVR number and by answering the question on the SonyLiv App.

The operator wise registration details of the numbers to be dialled for IVR is listed below:

Q. What number can I call to register my answer?

A. Subscribers of the below mentioned operators can place a missed call on 70390 77772. The registrant will receive a call back on their number and they can then register through the IVR (for the respective Airtel, Vodafone-Idea, Jio and BSNL in select circles).

Q. What will it cost me to call and/or Register via the App?

A. IVR: No cost will be incurred as you will only place a missed call on the number, and you will get a call-back.

Sony Liv App: All registrations from the Sony Liv App will be free of cost, however data charges may apply. For further details on data charges please contact your service provider.

Q. How to answer using the IVR?

A. Please follow the steps below for participating via IVR:

  1. Registrant gives a missed call on 70390 77772.
  2. The Registrant will receive a call back within 5 minutes of the missed call. If Registrant is busy or not reachable basis the first call back then a maximum of 2 more attempts will be made to call the Registrant within next 30 minutes.
  3. The IVR will welcome the Registrant and asked for preferred language option: press 1 for English and press 2 for Marathi. For any subsequent attempts, the language chosen will be selected as the default language as per the Registrant’s selection in the first call.
  4. The IVR will ask the CFE question of the day along with the 4 options – the Registrant will be asked to press 1/2/3/4 depending on his/her answer of choice. The IVR repeats the question again once if not understood the first time. The Registrant is prompted once in case of incorrect input or no input. The IVR then plays a message for Registrant to confirm on answer input.
  5. If the submitted answer is wrong, the IVR will tell the Registrant that their answer is incorrect and they should try again for next question, and the call will get disconnected. (If the user has participated using a mobile number, an SMS will also be sent to the user informing them about the same)
  6. If the submitted answer is right then the Registrant will be asked to enter their age in completed years as on March, 2, 2023 (for e.g. if a person is 25 years and 11 months old, they will have to enter 25)
  7. The Registrant will be asked to enter gender (1 for male, 2 for female, and 3 for others)
  8. The Registrant will be asked to provide their educational qualification (1 for graduate, 2 for non-graduate)
  9. The Registrant will be asked to enter the region where he/she lives (1 for Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Palghar, 2 for Pune, Nagpur, Nashik and Aurangabad, 3 for Kolhapur, Solapur, Jalgaon and Amravati, 4 for Rest of Maharashtra, 5 for Rest of India)
  10. The call will end with a thank you note / play back option.

A Thank you message will inform the Registrants if they are selected for the next stage i.e. Level 2, they will be contacted within fifteen (15) working days from time of closure of lines. (If the user has participated using a mobile number, an SMS will also be sent to the user informing them about the same)

Q. How to answer using the Sony Liv App?

A. Please follow the below mentioned steps for participating via the Sony Liv App:

  1. Download the SonyLIV Aapp from the application store basis the operating system of your phone i.e. Android or IOS. Please note, the application download is free of cost, however data charges may apply. For further details on data charges please contact your service provider.
  2. Click on the “Kon Honaar Crorepati” banner/thumbnail on the SonyLIV App
  3. Please enter your email ID and mobile number. Please note that we will be able to get in touch with you only if the mobile number you have input is registered with a service provider in India.
  4. Please select your language – English or Marathi
  5. Please choose your gender between Male, Female and Other
  6. Please choose your educational qualification between Graduate and Non-Graduate
  7. Please choose your region of residence (1 for Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Palghar, 2 for Pune, Nagpur, Nashik and Aurangabad, 3 for Kolhapur, Solapur, Jalgaon and Amravati, 4 for Rest of Maharashtra, 5 for Rest of India)
  8. Once the registration is complete, the user will not have to register again the following day
  9. Question of the day is asked along with the 4 options – select and lock the answer option you think is correct
  10. If the answer is correct, a confirmation message will be displayed stating that registration is complete, and you will be contacted if selected
  11. If the answer is incorrect, a message will be displayed stating that the answer is wrong, and you should try again the next day

Q. When will I know the result of the registration?

A. If the answer provided by you was both valid and correct and you were selected in the random shortlist you will receive a call from us in around fifteen (15) working days from the date of close of registration lines for that question.

Q. How will I know the result of the registration?

A. If the answer provided by you was both valid and correct and you were shortlisted by the randomizer based on the pre-defined selectioncriteria, we will get in touch with you on your registered number. Please answer the phone yourself.

Audition

Q. Where and when will the auditions be conducted?

A. The auditions will be conducted online (through the Sony Liv App) on March 25, 2023. The auditionees will have to sign in online through the Sony Liv App on the date and time as allotted to such respective auditionees. It is necessary for the auditionee to have reliable internet connectivity and a smart phone throughout the audition rounds to be eligible for further processing. No disputes will be entertained arising out of issues of internet connectivity loss or non-availability of smartphone or similar device

Please note that the dates are tentative and might change subsequently. Company has the right to alter/change the venue of the auditions at its sole discretion.

Q. Can I choose my preferred date and time for audition?

A. No. The date and time for registration of Auditionees will be intimated and cannot be changed or modified to suit Auditionee’s requirements. If the shortlisted Registrant chooses to decline the same, he/she renounces further participation in Kon Honaar Crorepati – Season 4.

Q. What if I am unable to make it for the auditions?

A. Inability to attend the auditions on the specified date and time will close and/or terminate further participation in Kon Honaar Crorepati – Season 4.

Q. What will I be required to do at the auditions?

A. Each auditionee will be made to go through two pre- defined audition rounds. The first round will be an online test and video submission.

  • The online test will be a time bound General Knowledge test in which each auditionee will be required to answer general knowledge-based questions.
  • The video submission round will require auditionees to submit an online video introducing themselves as per the guidelines mentioned on the Sony LIV App.
  • The videos will need to be uploaded on Sony LIV App as mentioned.
  • All auditionees will have to complete the above-mentioned steps to move to the second round.

The second round of auditions is a personal interview which will happen online through video meeting setups. It is necessary for the auditionee to have reliable internet connectivity and a smart phone throughout the audition rounds to be eligible for further processing. No disputes will be entertained arising out of issues of internet connectivity loss or non-availability of smartphone or similar device.

Q. How will I know the result of the audition round?

A. The Auditionees who are shortlisted on the basis of the audition round will get a call from Culver Max Entertainment Private Limited or through its authorized representatives/producers informing them of selection in the “Fastest Finger First” round of the Show. Participants who are not selected will not be informed about the same.

Q. What documents will I require for the auditions?

A. Each auditionee will have to submit scanned copies of the following documents through email on the email ID provided prior to the online video interview:

  • Proof of identity, age and address will be accepted in English or Marathi only.
  • 4 recent passport sized color photographs of the Auditionee
  • For valid name proof (any one of the following):
    • - PAN Card along with Birth certificate 
    • - Passport
    • - Voter ID
    • - Driver’s License or
    • - UID / Aadhar card
  • For Valid address proof (any one of the following):
    • - Landline Phone / Electricity Bill 
    • - Passport
    • - Voter ID
    • - Driver’s License
    • - Ration card or
    • - UID / Aadhar card
  • 2 recent passport sized color photographs each of four Video A Friend Candidate(s). The Video A Friend Candidate(s) must be above 18 years of age as on March 2, 2023, and must be residing in India and of Indian nationality.

(Submission of the aforesaid documents does not imply that the auditionee has been selected for further participation.)

General

Q. What are the selection criteria?

A. The main criteria for selection is your general knowledge and grasp over current affairs, which is evaluated across various stages. In addition, there is also an interview round and audition at the final stage where your personality and screen presence are also evaluated.

Q. How many times can I participate?

A. Each registrant can be shortlisted only once for an audition in one schedule of registrations. However, there is no restriction on the number of times a viewer can participate through registration (IVR call/ App). Only the first valid entry will be considered for each mobile number registered through each mode of entry for each call for entry question.

Q. Who wins the Prize Money?

A. The person who gets on the hot seat and gets all the questions right will win the prize money. The prize amount will be decided by the Company at its sole discretion and will be subject to tax as per government rules.

Q. Some people claim that they can help get entry to Kon Honaar Crorepati – Season 4 Is it possible?

A. The only way to enter Kon Honaar Crorepati – Season-4 is through participation in the registration process as described in the Terms and Conditions. There is no other way of entering the Show i.e. ‘Kon Honaar Crorepati – Season-4’. This entire process is transparent and monitored by an independent firm.

There is no entry fee charged for participation in Kon Honaar Crorepati – Season 4. So, any person who claims that he/she is from Culver Max Entertainment Private Limited and that you have to pay an entry fee or any consideration for the show is defrauding you.. Please contact your local police and report this person.

Q. I got a call after answering the question for registration, but no one has called me after that. Have I been selected?

A. The official call you did receive could have been because you were among the shortlisted registrants selected by the computer for Level 1. However, this does not mean that you have been selected for the next rounds of auditions. We will be officially contacting the successful candidates who have made it to the next round.

Q. I have come across a WhatsApp message and/or social media post stating that the Company is providing a lottery prize and that I need to call and register to claim the prize. Is this true?

A. No. Please be informed that our show, Kon Honaar Crorepati, does not ask for any fees from participants or contestants. Also, the Show does not issue any lotteries or prizes or make payments of any consideration whatsoever. The only way in which you can win the prize money is by participating on the Show as per the rules and regulations mentioned on www.SonyLIV.com. The messages or calls received by you in this regard are fake and are not authorized by us. These communications are made by individuals who are trying to use the name of our popular Show in order to scam you and extort monies from you. Kindly refrain from engaging with these individuals and do not share any of your details with them. Please contact your local police and report this person, immediately.
